Ruapuna
Schedule: the exact schedule will be confirmed when we have certainty around what COVID-19 Alert level the event is likely to operate under. Under the current guidelines we have limits on the number of entries we can accept so enter ASAP.
Some key points for 2020
Participant numbers: Under level 2 restrictions we are limited to 85 participants in the open race and 45 in the youth, junior, kids and novice event. No spectators will be allowed and children can only be accompanied by 1 adult for transportation purposes. This will enable us to stay under the 100 limit on gatherings. If we operate at level 1 we expect there to be an increase in numbers allowed at gatherings.
Race number pick up: will be from “The Frontrunner Colombo” during the week. This is mandatory except for out of town athletes to enhance social distancing.
Briefing: there will be no race briefing on site. All athletes must watch the online briefing which will be live at least a week before the event
Start times: if still at COVID-19 Alert level 2
9:15am open race
10:45am Novice, juniors, youth and kids (kids race will be 11am)
If we are at Level 1 the junior, youth, novice and kids start times will be brought forward.
